Description

Woodie Hindman first built this classic McKenzie in 1940. The model measures 13" from stem to stern and is 5-1/3" across amidships. This is the immediate predecessor to contemporary McKenzie. This highly maneuverable drift boat became the craft of choice among guides through the 1940s. It was Woodie's personal favorite. Due to the accentuated rocker and parallel sheer lines, we affectionately call this boat the McKenzie Crescent. The model is painstakingly handcrafted from scratch. To the extent possible we use the wood material found in the earliest double enders.
