$595 U. S. Plus shipping Description This boat was popularized in the 1930s and 40s by Tom Kaarhus. It remains a favorite today among a select few. The model is 13" long and 5" across. One of the beauties of this boat was its dual purpose nature: it handled white water nicely, and it accommodated a small motor better than any of the other drift boats. As a boat the Rapid Robert was one of the easier McKenzies to build. The model is handcrafted from scratch. To the extent possible we use the same material as that used in the early boats.
